About Me: AREA OF EXPERTISE Albert joined Royal LePage Commercial from Colliers International where he was instrumental in providing marketing and research services to office users and owners, both domestic and foreign, for almost 23 years. This included the development of strategic marketing and research programs for “A” class office buildings as well as formulating effective leasing strategies for tenants in locating suitable office space and/or disposing of their existing premises. During this time he also worked in Miami from September 2008 to October 2009 with the Colliers office as a strategic real estate market analyst. BUSINESS & EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND In 1987 Albert graduated from Trent University on Scholarship with an Honours Degree in Political Science as part of the Regular Officer Training Program of the Canadian Armed Forces. Upon graduation he underwent jet pilot training in the Air Force and thereafter worked as a Public Affairs Officer. In 1991 he moved to Berlin, Germany where he worked five years as a commercial real estate specialist, in which he assisted clients in accomplishing their real estate leasing, investment and development objectives. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, fitness, reading and writing. In 2014 he authored and published The C.A.T. Principle, a book about change, action and trust, which won the Santa Barbara, California-based Global eBook GOLD & SILVER Awards for Best Self-Help Non-Fiction eBook of 2014 and 2016.
